Developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, Tomb Raider III arrived on Sony PlayStation in 1998 in Europe and North America. Lara Croft’s third adventure kept the series’ precise platforming and puzzle-solving, but widened its scope with locations ranging from Indian ruins to London rooftops, Nevada’s military installations, and Antarctica. After India, players could choose the order of the three middle destinations—a welcome bit of freedom within an otherwise carefully structured adventure.New sprinting and crawling moves gave Lara more ways to navigate levels, while branching routes and well-hidden secrets rewarded close attention to the scenery. The difficulty could be unforgiving: traps, limited resources, and demanding jumps made patience more useful than a quick trigger finger. It’s a particularly ambitious entry in the original PlayStation run, with environments that often feel like elaborate mechanisms waiting to be understood. This Japanese-market copy features Japanese localization and requires a compatible Japanese-region console or another compatible setup.This uncommon-in-our-shop copy is complete in box and in good condition.
