The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

Developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time first released in Japan and North America in 1998, bringing the series into 3D on Nintendo 64. Its Z-targeting system gave sword fights a clear focal point, while context-sensitive controls made climbing, talking, and exploring feel remarkably natural. Hyrule Field connected distinct towns and dungeons into a world that felt enormous without losing Zelda’s knack for carefully placed secrets.The story follows Link across childhood and adulthood, with changes to Hyrule making the passage of time more than a plot device. Playing melodies on the ocarina turns music into a practical tool, and Koji Kondo’s score gives places like Gerudo Valley and the Lost Woods their own unmistakable character. Widely acclaimed at release, it helped establish a vocabulary for 3D action-adventure games that developers continued using long afterward.This US copy is loose and in good condition, and Ocarina of Time is an uncommon find in our shop. It was inspected, cleaned and tested by hand at Broad Street Exchange in Woodbury, NJ.
