Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is a Nintendo Switch game, not a Wii release, so the console attached to this US listing needs to be confirmed. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Sora Ltd. and published by Nintendo, it launched worldwide in 2018. Its big promise was unusually literal: every fighter from the previous Super Smash Bros. games returned, bringing Nintendo regulars and guest characters together in one sprawling roster. The fighting still revolves around building damage and launching opponents off the stage rather than emptying a health bar. Ultimate pairs that familiar foundation with faster movement than its immediate predecessor, an enormous selection of stages and music, and the World of Light single-player adventure. Its Spirits system turns characters from across gaming into collectible support abilities, giving even obscure favorites a place beyond the playable lineup. It’s a crossover with enough mechanical depth for competitive players and enough delightful oddities to keep a couch full of friends entertained. This copy is listed as CIB in mint condition and was inspected, cleaned and tested by hand at Broad Street Exchange in Woodbury, NJ. The Wii designation needs correction before the listing can accurately identify the copy.
