Skyrim

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim arrived on PlayStation 3 in North America on November 11, 2011. The fifth main entry in the series moves the action to Skyrim, a northern province caught between civil war and the return of dragons. You play the Dragonborn, whose ability to absorb dragon souls and wield powerful Shouts gives the central story its hook—but wandering off toward an unexplored ruin is just as much the point.Skyrim traded fixed character classes for skills that improve through use, letting a sword-swinging adventurer gradually become a sneaky archer or a capable mage. Its dense map of dungeons, towns, and competing factions made exploration the main attraction, while Jeremy Soule’s score gave both quiet landscapes and dragon fights their distinctive atmosphere. The PlayStation 3 release also had well-documented performance problems, particularly with extended play, an important footnote to a game celebrated for its scale and freedom. This US PlayStation 3 copy is complete in box and in fair condition. It was inspected, cleaned and tested by hand at Broad Street Exchange in Woodbury, NJ.
