Pokemon Diamond

Pokemon Diamond was developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for Nintendo DS, first releasing in Japan in 2006 before reaching the US in 2007. Set in Sinnoh, it introduced the fourth generation of Pokémon, online trading and battling through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and a physical/special move split that reshaped competitive play. Attacks were classified individually rather than solely by their elemental type, giving familiar Pokémon new ways to compete.There’s an important title-and-platform mismatch to resolve here: Pokemon Diamond was not released for Nintendo Switch. The Switch remake is Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, developed by ILCA and published by Nintendo in 2021. It preserves the original’s overhead perspective with compact, stylized characters while expanding the Underground into the Grand Underground, where Pokémon Hideaways add wild encounters beneath Sinnoh. Please confirm which version this copy is before using the listing; these are distinct releases, not interchangeable titles.This US copy is listed as complete in box and in good condition, and it’s an uncommon find in our shop. It was inspected, cleaned and tested by hand at Broad Street Exchange in Woodbury, NJ.
