Developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios, Fable 3 launched for Xbox 360 in North America in 2010. Set roughly fifty years after Fable II, it moves Albion into an industrial age of factories, widening class divides, and royal trouble. You play the younger sibling of King Logan, building a rebellion against his rule before discovering that taking the throne and governing responsibly are very different jobs.That shift from revolutionary to ruler gives this third mainline Fable its identity. Promises made while recruiting allies become decisions with real costs, putting your conscience up against the kingdom’s treasury. Combat mixes melee weapons, firearms, and magic, while evolving weapons reflect how you use them. Lionhead also replaced many conventional menus with the Sanctuary, a walkable headquarters for managing equipment and other essentials. The streamlined role-playing systems divided opinion, but the British humor, cooperative play, and uneasy business of keeping political promises make it a distinctive chapter in the series.This US copy is complete in box and in fair condition.
