CTR Crash Team Racing brought Crash Bandicoot to kart racing on the Sony PlayStation in 1999, developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. First released in North America, it was Naughty Dog’s final Crash game, trading the series’ platforming courses for racetracks without losing its sharp character animation or mischievous personality. Crash, Cortex, and familiar friends and rivals compete against Nitros Oxide, an alien racer with a fairly unreasonable wager: win, or surrender the planet.What made it stick was the driving. Power slides feed a timed boost system that rewards practice, while jumps and well-placed weapons keep races unpredictable. Adventure mode gives the competition structure through connected hub areas, boss races, and challenges built around collecting CTR tokens or beating the clock for relics. Local racing supports up to four players with a Multitap, but the handling gives solo players plenty to master, too. Its reputation eventually earned it a full remake, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, in 2019.This US copy is complete in box and in mint condition. It has been inspected, cleaned and tested by hand at Broad Street Exchange in Woodbury, NJ.

Not covered: drops, liquid, third-party repairs or modding, and unsuitable power supplies. Email us with your order number to start a claim.
